PUBLIC COMMENT

 

Public Comment period for citizens who requested to speak to the Board regarding Town issues not on the Calendar.

Up to fifteen minutes for public comment on matters not appearing on this Calendar shall be scheduled each meeting.  Persons wishing to speak may sign up in advance beginning on the Friday preceding the meeting or may sign up in person at the meeting. Speakers will be taken up in the order they sign up.  Advance registration is available by calling the Selectmen’s office at 617-730-2211 or by e-mail at sorsini@brooklinema.gov. Approval of miscellaneous items, licenses, vouchers, and contracts.

 

Question of approving the minutes of November 7, 2017.

 

Question of granting four (4) Permits to Serve Alcoholic Beverages on Town Property (Non-Sales/All Kinds) to Larz Anderson Auto Museum at 15 Newton Street as follows:

 

(1)   For a Holiday Party to be held on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 from 5:30pm-11:00pm.

 

(2)   For a Holiday Party to be held on Thursday, December 7, 2017 from 5:00pm-11:00pm.

 

(3)   For an Engagement Party to be held on Saturday, December 9, 2017 from 6:00pm-11:00pm.

 

(4)   For a Holiday Party to be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2017 from 6:00pm-11:00pm.

 

Question of granting a Temporary Wine and Malt Alcoholic Beverages Sales Licenses to the Olive Connection for a Cooking Class to be held on Monday, December 11, 2017 from 6:00pm-8:00pm at 1426 Beacon Street.

 

Question of accepting a Sustainable Materials Recovery Program Municipal grant in the amount of $279,590.00 from the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection in connection with the Hybrid Pay-As-You-Throw Automated Trash Collection System.
