Mission: To assist individuals, families and Town employees acquire needed mental, substance abuse and other human services. Provide consultation and treatment planning assistance. Monitor and support those in treatment. Referral to a variety of programs as needed. Interventions and crisis planning. Referral to Alcoholic Anonymous, Narcotic Anonymous, Alanon, SMART recovery and other self-help groups. Available for workshops and community education. Support community events.

Substance Abuse Resources
The Sober Recovery Community- offers support forums for people in recovery, as well as family and friends. Sober.com- provides message boards for people in recovery and also provides recovery coaching from professional counselors. Shouting Inside- helps young adults who misuse susbtances share their stories and struggles with like-minded people.
