Town of Brookline Home :: Events :: On The Move

The mission of Brookline on the Move is to promote physical activity and improve physical fitness among all who live or work in Brookline.

This initiative is a collaborative effort of the Town of Brookline Recreation and Public Heatlh Departments in conjunction with over 30 private partners from the Brookline community.  Brookline On the Move helps support and sponsor several community events including; Brookline Bikes, Walking Groups, Fitness Fairs and National Public Health week.

This video is yet another means to raise awareness in Brookline about health and to think about health from a different perspective.  A link to the video is below, through the web site which is promoting the video. As soon as you click on the website, the video comes up.

Great Runs- Led Runs throughout the roads of Brookline
                                    
Join us for a fun and social gathering, designed toward the casual, recreational runner.
                                    Runs will be approximately 5-6 miles and pace is approximately 9-10 minutes per mile.
                                    All participants will receive a copy of the recently published book,
                                    Great Runs in Brookline and Vicinity, by Mark Lowenstein.
