Abutter’s List Request Form

There are two ways to obtain a Certified Abutter's list from the Assessor's Office.

Go to our Abutters Online Search Program and search for the property to generate a printable list on your own, then submit it to the Assessors Office for certification.

Download the Abutters List Request Form (PDF) to request the Assessors Office generate and certify a list.

  1. Send either the completed form or the printed list of abutters to the Assessor's Office for certification. Abutters and abutters to abutters within 300 feet of the subject parcel will be included on the list. Mailing labels for all abutters will be provided using the current assessment record at a cost of $0.05 per label. Please indicate in your request how many you require. Fees for preparing an Abutter’s List are based on an hourly rate of $30.00 per hour. The total fee for the certified list will be determined based on the number of abutters.
    1. You may submit the forms by:
      • Mailing them to the address below,
      • Appearing in-person at the address below,
      • Emailing them as a PDF to [email protected], or
      • Faxing them to (617) 739-7572.
    2. You must also send a $10 deposit in-person or by mail to:

  2. Please allow 10 business days to prepare a Certified Abutter’s List.
  3. The Assessor's Office will send you an invoice for any amount over the $10 deposit. You may pay in-person or by mail at the address above.
