Private Waste Haulers & Student Move In/Out

Student Move In/Out

Private Waste HaulersThe Town of Brookline waste collection fee is based on the collection of domestic household waste accumulated during a 1 week period. Apartment, attic, basement, etc. clean outs and/or construction, demolition or renovation waste will not be collected. Please make arrangements with private permitted waste haulers to dispose of these materials.

All solid waste haulers must pick up recycling along with solid waste.

For a full list of haulers that are licensed in Brookline, please email the DPW permits office at [email protected] to access the most recent list.

To avoid fines, have a private hauler ready 2 weeks in advance for your tenants. It’s not fair to your neighbors or other residents of Brookline.
