With nearly 4,000 bikes and 400 stations, it's a fast, fun, and affordable way to get around the Greater Boston region. Interstate Bus Service
As part our Town's multi-modal transportation network that prioritizes a transportation system to provides alternatives to personal car ownership, the Transportation Board issues Jitney Licenses for Interstate Bus Services to operate between Brookline and other cities. These bus or coach services, are a form of public transportation that carries passengers significant distances between different cities, towns, and states. Currently the Town has licensed FlixBus to operate service between Coolidge Corner and New York, Philadelphia, Baltimore, Washington DC, and Richmond.
