HOW TO ENROLL IN THE MBTA YOUTH PASS PROGRAM
STEP 1: DETERMINE IF YOU ARE ELIGIBLE
To be eligible you must:
live in Brookline
not be enrolled in a middle school or high school, and
be between the ages of 12 - 25.
If you are between the ages of 19 - 25, you must demonstrate means testing. This includes being enrolled in a GED or job training program, be a resident of Brookline Housing, or taking part in a state or federal income-based program such as Mass Health, WIC, food stamps, Section 8, etc. For more about the program including a complete list of qualifying programs click here
If you are interested in the Youth Pass Program, you must download and complete the Brookline MBTA Youth Pass Application including documentation proving eligibility
STEP 3: VISIT THE TRANSPORTATION OFFICE IN TOWN HALL
Bring your completed application and supporting documents to our office. Please note that legal guardians, parents, mentors, or supervisors cannot complete the process. Youth must come in to complete the process. When you leave our office you will have the pass in hand!
