The MBTA Youth Pass Program provides eligible youth and young adults with a reduced cost MBTA public transit pass.
How to Enroll
STEP 1: DETERMINE IF YOU ARE ELIGIBLE
To be eligible you must:
live in Brookline
not be enrolled in a middle school or high school, and
be between the ages of 12 - 25.
If you are between the ages of 19 - 25, you must demonstrate means testing. This includes being enrolled in a GED or job training program, being a resident of Brookline Housing, or taking part in a state or federal income-based program such as Mass Health, WIC, food stamps, Section 8, etc.
Go to the MBTA online portal and click "APPLY FOR A YOUTH PASS ONLINE", then choose to have the card mailed to you, OR
Go to the MBTA online portal and click "APPLY FOR A YOUTH PASS ONLINE" then choose to have the card picked up in person at Transportation Division Office Brookline Town Hall 333 Washington St. Brookline, MA 02445 Monday-Thursday: 8am to 5pm Friday: 8am to 12:30pm OR
