New Housing Development

  • 370-384 Harvard Avenue - 2Life Communities, formerly Jewish Community for the Elderly (Rental Development-Under Construction): Congregation Kehillath Israel (KI) will share space on its Harvard Street campus—370 Harvard Street—for 2Life to develop 62 units of senior housing. Called the Harold and Ronald Brown Family House, the building will be physically and programmatically connected with KI. Along with a variety of campus partners, social, wellness, and educational programming will be offered to the wider community, welcoming people of all ages and backgrounds. 
  • 86 Dummer Street (Rental Development): The Brookline Housing Authority developed the new 32 unit affordable housing property at 86 Dummer Street. It opened in 2016. All 32 units are income-restricted and managed by Peabody Properties. Follow this link for information regarding income limits and waiting lists.

  • St. Aidan's (Rental and Homeownership Development): A Community of thirty-nine condominium homes & twenty affordable apartment homes. Organized around a central courtyard and complemented by the landmark 150 year-old Copper Beech tree with its half-acre canopy.
