- Marijuana Retail Establishments
Marijuana retail establishments are entities licensed to purchase, repackage, white-label, and transport marijuana or marijuana product from other marijuana establishments and to sell to Consumers. Unless licensed, retailers are prohibited from offering Marijuana or Marijuana Products for the purposes of on-site social consumption on the premises. Please see the Cannabis Control Commission's Regulations for additional information.
The Town has a maximum cap of four Special Permits and four Licenses for retail marijuana establishments. As of September 2021, four establishments, NETA, Sanctuary Medicinals, Mission MA Inc., and Comm Ave Canna have received Special Permits and Licenses. NETA, Mission, and Sanctuary Medicinals are currently in operation.
