Each year, the Town of Brookline grants funds from the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program to organizations and Town agencies to fund programs, or projects, that principally benefit low- and very low-income residents. CDBG funds are given to the Town on a yearly basis from the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). CDBG funding is granted through a Request for Proposals (RFP) process.
