Compost Volunteer Opportunities

Brookline’s Department of Public Works (DPW) often seeks the support of community volunteers to advance the Town's composting initiatives.
The DPW frequently requires volunteers to serve as waste station monitors during Town events and/or during school lunches. Monitor duties include educating community members on proper separation methods and sorting out contamination from the compost and/or recycling.
No previous experience with composting or waste sorting necessary!
