Current Organizations

  • ArtsBrookline
    ArtsBrookline is dedicated to making Brookline and arts destination during the months of April, May and June each year. We maintain a calendar of arts events throughout town as an on-line resource for residents and visitors. ArtsBrookline also offers unique programming of our own. The calendar is a showcase of Brookline's talented artists and cultural organizations. You may also find some events listed July thru March.
  • Black N Brown Club
    BNBC Inc is the first 100 percent all minority owned/operated non-profit organization in the history of Brookline, MA. It pushes for representation for Black and Brown residents of Brookline.
  • Brookline Adult and Community Education
    Official site includes course schedules and descriptions, event listings, and online registration.
  • Brookline Asian American Family Network
    BAAFN was formed to support the needs of Asian/Asian American students and their families in the Brookline School system.
  • Brookline Center for Community Mental Health

  • Brookline Chamber of Commerce: The mission of the Brookline Chamber of Commerce is to promote and advance the continued success of Brookline as a thriving community in which to live, work and do business. The chamber takes a leadership role in the business community for growth, advocacy, information, and networking.
  • Brookline Chinese School
    The Brookline Chinese School (BCS) is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization committed towards promoting communication between Chinese and Western communities.
  • Brookline Community Aging Network
    We believe that Brookline's older residents should remain in the homes they cherish and among the friends and neighbors who care about them, and whom they care deeply about.
  • Brookline Community Foundation
    The mission of the Brookline Community Foundation is to shine a spotlight on community needs, inspire philanthropy and award strategic grants to build a more vibrant, engaged and equitable Brookline.
  • Brookline Education Foundation
    The Brookline Education Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving Brookline’s commitment to excellence in public education. The BEF raises private funds to support innovative teaching, administrative leadership, professional development, and community participation in the schools.
  • Brookline GreenSpace Aliance
    The Alliance is a environmental organization dedicated to preserving and enhancing Brookline’s green spaces. BGSA provides local environmental education and advocacy as well as support for park volunteers through its publication PLACE, its website, walking tours, meetings with town representatives, and fiscal agency services.
  • Brookline Rotary
    Brookline Rotary club members are business, professional , and community leaders in the Brookline area who meet regularly to plan and implement community service activities and network with other community professionals. We are part of a global network of community volunteers whose members drive the service projects we choose to support. Some of our recent projects have include Brookline Senior Center transportation, local literacy projects with the schools and library, domestic violence and commercial sexual exploitation prevention, Brookline Food Pantry support, global clean water projects, world-wide polio eradication, and international fellowship exchange programs.

  • Brookline Sister City - Quezalguaque, Nicaragua
    Quezalguaque, Nicaragua was designated Brookline's sister city in 1987. After 20 years, the relationship has grown and expanded.
  • Brookline Steps to Success
    Building upon the aspirations and skills of the young people we work with, the mission of Steps to Success is to enhance educational outcomes for students from low-income families in order to defeat the cycle of poverty.
  • Brookline Village Community Association
    The Brookline Village Community Association is an association of residents and businesses with the shared goal of supporting and celebrating the fantastic community that is Brookline Village. Our principal activity is to organize the Village Fair, a yearly street festival that takes place on Harvard Street in June, bringing music, performance, games, food, and fun to the Village.
  • Brookline Winter Farmer's Market: The Brookline Winter Farmer's Market is held Sundays from November to June, noon to 5 p.m. at the Arcade Building on Harvard Avenue. The market is designed to provide one-stop shopping for people who choose to shop and eat local.
  • Climate Action Brookline (CAB)
    A group of volunteer activists committed to the vision of Brookline evolving from an energy-consuming community to an energy-conserving community. Our mission is to create a greener and healthier future by connecting Brookline citizens to the ways they can reduce their carbon footprint at home, at work and in the community.
  • Consortium for the Arts in Brookline (CoFAB): Dedicated to arts promotion, education, collaboration, and advocacy.
  • Girl Scouts of Brookline
    Girl scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Girls in grades K-12 can join at any time and decide how to participate:

  • League of Women Voters of Brookline
    The League of Women Voters is a nonpartisan political organization encouraging the informed and active participation of citizens in government. It influences public policy through education and advocacy.
  • Metropolitan Mediation Services
    Metropolitan Mediation Services (MMS) is a community mediation program providing dispute mediation services, mediator training, and conflict resolution service to area courts, schools, human services agencies, and individuals.
  • Team Brookline
    The Town of Brookline’s official Boston Marathon teams, brings together 30+ runners each year to train for and run the Boston Marathon while raising funds for five partner charities that play an integral role in strengthening and enriching our community.
  • Toast with Friends - Toastmasters Brookline
    Toast with Friends is one of 14,000 Toastmasters clubs worldwide dedicated to helping its members achieve their potential as communicators and leaders in a supportive, self-paced, and enjoyable atmosphere.
