  • Winter Coat Drive (Dress for Success) - In collaboration with Dress for Success, the Brookline Commission for Women hosted a Winter Coat Drive to provide new or lightly-used warm coats to this not-for-profit organization that "empowers women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and the development tools to help them thrive in work and in life.”  Due to the pandemic restrictions in fall/winter 2020-21, Dress for Success suspended this clothing drive.   • Childcare Forum - In April 2013 and September 2014, the BCW hosted forums on childcare options.
  • Toxic Bust – Breast Cancer Awareness - In October 2008, the BCW partnered with the Brookline Health Department to show the documentary film, Toxic Bust, which explores the connection between toxic chemicals and breast cancer.
  • Status of Women in Brookline - In 2006, the BCW held a “Forum on the Status of Women” to discuss how Brookline women fare in terms of health, politics, and business.
