12/3 & 12/4 Transportation Planning Mtgs

Two meetings related to Transportation Planning coming up on December 3rd and 4th, both at 7 pm, Selectmen’s Hearing Room, Town Hall (333 Washington Street):

BROOKLINE - INTERSECTION & SIGNAL IMPROVEMENTS @

At this meeting, the Town of Brookline and MassDOT will be seeking comments on possible design changes related to accessibility on Route 9 in the project area. More information, including the 25% Design Plans that were submitted to MassDOT in January 2012, is available at:

Dec 4th: Town Parking & Transportation Demand Management Policy

 to discuss a new
TOWN-WIDE PARKING & 
TRANSPORTATION DEMAND MANAGEMENT (PTDM) POLICY

The Town of Brookline, along with consulting firm Nelson\Nygaard, are developing a Town-wide parking and transportation demand management (PTDM) policy. This policy will affect large scale development projects, including 2 Brookline Place, in accordance with the Town of Brookline’s Zoning By-Law. This policy may include vehicular trip reduction goals, maximums for the percentage of employees that arrive by car, specific transit subsidy requirements, on-site bicycle accommodations, etc. Find out more and provide feedback on what PTDM should look like in Brookline.
