In observance of the Thanksgiving Holiday on Thursday, November 23rd, please note the following for the Town of Brookline:

CLOSINGS AND MODIFIED HOURS:

TRASH AND RECYCLING PICKUP INFORMATION:

The Department of Public Works has announced that for those on the Town's trash service, trash and recycling pickup will not occur on Thanksgiving Day. Thursday's pickup will take place on Friday and Friday's pickup will take place on Saturday. Please plan accordingly.

PARKING:

The Brookline Police Department has announced that the overnight parking restrictions will be lifted for Wednesday night into Thursday morning and Thursday night into Friday morning at 6am, at which time all regular parking restrictions will resume. Meters will not be in effect on Thanksgiving Day.

SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY:

On Saturday, November 25th, metered parking in commercial areas will be free all day to promote Small Business Saturday. Please support Brookline businesses, restaurants, and service providers while doing your holiday shopping!

GIVING THANKS:

Please join us as we thank our public safety members who will be working during the holiday - thank you Brookline Fire Department, Brookline Police Department, and Fallon Ambulance Service! We appreciate your service and commitment to the Brookline community!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL THOSE CELEBRATING!
