Brookline Place PB Mtg on 1/22

Posted on January 5, 2015 at 2:56 PM by Kara Brewton

The next meeting for Brookline Place will be at the Planning Board on January 22nd, 7:30 pm, Room 111.  This will be a public hearing as part of the Special Permit process.

The GMR-2.0 zoning and Memorandum of Agreement  require the developer to provide certain community benefits such as overnight parking for nearby residents, a pedestrian easement through the site, access to an open space area for the Town to use for community events 3-4 times a year, and an employment outreach program. In addition to the planned improvements to Pearl Street and the installation of an audible traffic signal, the developer will also provide $1.3 Million to be used  for offsite mitigation such as the Gateway East project and the demolition and removal of the defunct pedestrian bridge across Boylston Street.

Boston Children's Hospital will continue discussions with the Transportation Board regarding the design and reconstruction of Pearl Street on January 20th, 7pm, Room 111. Please double-check the Town Calendar  for any updates/changes to this meeting later this month.

Presentations from all the meetings and approved minutes are available through the Town's project website. Below is a snapshot from the last presentation to the Design Advisory Team on December 10th.
