CDBG 5-Year Consolidated Plan Open Houses
As part of its Five Year Consolidated Plan process, the Brookline Department of Planning and Community Development is hosting two open house events to have discussions with the public on the federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Program. We want you to be part of the discussion about what the most important housing and community development needs are in Brookline.
The first event will be held during the day at Egmont Street Veterans Apartment’s Community Room (closest to Dummer Street, look for the blue mural) from 2PM to 6PM on Wednesday, March 11th.
The second event will be held in the evening at the Main Branch Public Library, 361 Washington Street in Brookline Village, in Hunneman Hall from 4PM to 8PM on Thursday, March 12th.
Information about these Open Houses can be found on these flyers:
The open houses will provide an opportunity to learn about the CDBG program in a welcoming and casual environment and will allow staff to hear about the needs in the community. The events will also be flexible by allowing participants to arrive and leave whenever they’d like.
Let your voice be heard and come to one of these open houses! The conversations with participants will help us summarize the Town’s housing and community development needs and finalize the goals for the Five-Year Consolidated Plan.
Please feel free to forward this message and flyers to your networks.
If you have further questions, please contact the Department of Planning and Community Development at 617-730-2133 or email [email protected].
Thank you!
