The 5th Brookline Youth Awards will be held May 6th from 7-9 pm at the Coolidge Corner Theater.
The evening focuses on the special contributions of young people, and features video interviews with our 14 Youth Award recipients as well as the presentation of this year's Brookline Youth of the Year. We will also announce the BrooklineHub.com Social Justice Award recipient. Teens are selected from a nomination committee comprised of Town Administrator Mel Kleckner, BHS Headmaster Deb Holman, Brookline Selectman Chair Ken Goldstein, and civic and business leaders from throughout Brookline. The event's Principal Sponsors are BrooklineHub.com, the Town of Brookline, and the Coolidge Corner Theater.
I am pleased to announce Chobee Hoy will also be honored as second recipient of the Ethel Weiss Service Award. This award is presented every year to the Brookline business person who best exemplifies service, commitment and passion toward Brookline's young people.
