On Tuesday evening, November 3, the Board of Selectmen and School Committee are hosting an “Open House” in order to provide Brookline citizens with an opportunity to learn more about the Civic Moxie study and the upcoming process to consider sites for a possible 9th Elementary School.
The Open House will run from 6:00PM until 9:00PM at the Denny Room within the Public Health Building at 11 Pierce Street. The Open House format allows citizens to view detailed information about the site options identified in the Civic Moxie study and to ask questions in an informal setting to Selectmen, School Committee members, staff and consultants. No formal presentations will be made at this Open House but comments and questions will be recorded into the public record. Also note that members of the Board of Selectmen will be in attendance from 6:00PM to approximately 7:20PM.
A second Open House event will be held on Thursday morning, November 12 from 7:00AM-9:00AM in the School Committee Room on the 5th Floor of Town Hall.
Please visit the Town's Planning and Community Development webpage for further information, including the report by Civic Moxie and presentation materials.
