The Brookline Department of Public Works and Solid Waste Advisory Committee (SWAC) are excited to announce the expansion of our sustainable waste management initiative through the development of Brookline’s first-ever Zero Waste Framework. As Brookline works to meet our climate mitigation and adaptation goals, as well as become a more equitable and healthy Town for all, we know sustainable waste management plays a critical role in shaping the future of our community. This second meeting will offer participants an opportunity to discuss Zero Waste wish list items and what to prioritize so that Brookline can have the most significant impact.  We hope that you will be able to join us to learn more about Zero Waste principles and also share your ideas on what is important to you in Brookline’s journey towards  a more sustainable, climate-resilient, and equitable future.
