Select Board to announce recent and/or upcoming Events of Community Interest.

PUBLIC COMMENT

Public Comment period for residents who requested to speak to the Board regarding Town issues not on the Calendar.

Up to fifteen minutes for public shall be scheduled each meeting. Persons wishing to speak may sign up in advance beginning on the Friday preceding the meeting or may sign up in person at the meeting. Speakers will be taken up in the order they sign up. Approval of miscellaneous items, licenses, vouchers, and contracts.

Question of approving the meeting minutes from June 14, 2022.

Question of accepting a grant from the Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) for three new Speed Boards in the amount of $16,726.

3.C.

Question of approving a Temporary Wine and Malt Beverages Non-Sales License to The Larz Anderson Auto Museum for a 50th Wedding Anniversary to be held on June 24, 2022 from 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM at 15 Newton Street. 125 people are expected to attend.

Question of approving a Temporary Wine and Malt Beverages Non-Sales License to The Larz Anderson Auto Museum for a Tented Sangeet to be held on July 2, 2022 from 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM at 15 Newton Street. 125 people are expected to attend.

BROOKLINE COMMUNITY FOUNDATION GRANT

Question of accepting a grant from the Brookline Community Foundation's Brookline For All Fund for a Town Meeting Access Program in the amount of $2,200.

6.

CROWN CASTLE EQUIPMENT UPGRADE

Question of approving the request from Crown Castle to upgrade nine (9) existing wireless DAS Nodes by adding 5G antennas and upgrading ancillary equipment cabinets at the nodes, including the replacement of 3 nodes for structural reasons, to improve wireless services.

ALL ALCOHOL ALTERATION OF PREMESIS PUBLIC HEARING

7:00 PM

Question of approving the application for an alteration of licensed premises of an All Alcohol License for Painted Burro Brookline LLC d/b/a Burro Bar at 1665 – 1665A Beacon Street.  The license is taking over the unit adjacent to its current unit to expand its restaurant, bar and patio.

LODGING HOUSE LICENSE TRANSFER - PUBLIC HEARING

7:00 PM

Question of approving the application for a transfer of the Lodging House license from Alice Dentremont to Enis Shehu at 44 Winslow Road.

10.

COMMON VICTUALLER & ENTERTAINMENT LICENSE - APOLLONIA

Question of approving the application for a Common Victualler License for Apollonia Enterprises, LLC. d/b/a Fuel America at 1020 Commonwealth Ave.  Hours of operation will be Monday – Sunday 6:00 AM – 9:00 PM. Seating will consist of 42 inside seats.

Question of approving the application for a new Entertainment License for Apollonia Enterprises, LLC d/b/a Fuel America at 1020 Commonwealth Ave. Entertainment will consist of radio Monday – Sunday 6:00 AM – 9:00 PM.

11.

COMMON VICTUALLER & ENTERTAINMENT LICENSE - CANTINA

Question of approving the application for a Common Victualler License for Cantina Hospitality, LLC. d/b/a Taco Bell at 276 -278A Harvard Street.  Hours of operation will be Monday - Thursday 8:00 am to 1:00 am Friday – Saturday 8:00 am – 2:00 am. Seating will consist of 34 inside seats.

Question of approving the application for a new Entertainment License for Cantina Hospitality, LLC d/b/a Taco Bell at 276 -278A Harvard Street. Entertainment will consist of radio and recorded music Monday - Sunday 8:00 am – 2:00 am.

COMMON VICTUALLER & ENTERTAINMENT LICENSE

Question of approving the application of a Common Victualler for Maguro Thai Sushi, Inc. d/b/a Maguro at 1335 Beacon Street.     Hours of operation will be Sunday – Thursday 11:30 AM – 9:30 PM, Friday – Saturday 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM. Seating will consist of 60 inside seats.

Question of approving the application of a new Entertainment for Maguro Thai Sushi, Inc. d/b/a Maguro at 1335 Beacon Street. Entertainment will consist of radio and television Monday – Sunday 11:30 AM – 10:00 PM.

ANNUAL TOWN MEETING FOLLOW UP

Presentation on the 2022 Annual Town Meeting and assignment of follow up action for the Select Board.

ANNUAL APPOINTMENTS

Question of making Annual Appointments as recommended by the Town Administrator; of department heads, administrators, other officials and employees and of setting the benefits, salaries, and wages of all non-union employees effective July 1, 2022.

Discussion of a possible Select Board workshop/strategic planning session.
