     a. From new WalkBoston report and analysis for Massachusetts pedestrian deaths:

12. Gaps in service

  1. PARC- The PARC program here in Brookline assigns day/overnight parking permits to a caregiver's car specifically and there is no option for a permit assigned to a resident's home (Cambridge for example, assigns a permit to a resident as opposed to a caregiver.
  2. Resident living on a third floor of a walk-up and needs to get out of her apartment to attend important doctor appointments.  Due to her medical conditions, she is unable to get down the stairs on her own, reporting leg weakness and limited mobility.  Unfortunately, there does not seem to be any organization that is able to assist with stair navigation/transport.
