For the purpose of (1) discussing strategy with respect to litigation that is clearly and imminently threatened; (2) conducting strategy session in preparation for negotiations with union and non-union employees, if an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the litigating position of the public body and the chair so declares.

Public Comment period for residents who requested to speak to the Board regarding Town issues not on the Calendar.

Question of approving the following authorization to hire requests in the Recreation Department:

Administrative Lead Teacher - After School (T-3)

Question of approving the authorization to hire request for a Group Leader (T152) in the Council on Aging Department.

7.D.

Question of approving the authorization to hire request for the Assistant to the Library Director (C-10) in Library Administration.

7.E.

Question of Approving and Authorizing the Chair or her designee to execute an extension of a CDBG Developer Agreement between the Town of Brookline and the Brookline Improvement Coalition (BIC) for a roof replacement project at BIC’s 154-156 Boylston Street property.  The term of the Agreement shall be extended to September 31, 2022.

Question of approving a contract with Thompson Waterproofing, Inc. in the amount of $598,000.00 for the Exterior Envelope Repair Project Five Buildings, Brookline, Massachusetts.

Question of accepting a grant in the amount of $51,889 from the State's Community Compact Cabinet's Municipal Fiber grant program related to expanding the Town's municipal fiber optic infrastructure.

Question of delegating signatory authority for the Round 1 ARPA grant recipients to Miriam Aschkenasy or Mike Sandman.

7.I.

Question of accepting a gift in the amount of $4,815.75 for the Brookline Commission for the Arts related to their fund raising event held on June 10, 2022. These funds will be used to support public art.

Question of approving a Temporary Wine and Malt Beverages Non-Sales License to The Larz Anderson Auto Museum for a Wedding to be held on August 27, 2022 from 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM at 15 Newton Street. 70 people are expected to attend.
