5. PROPOSED EXECUTIVE SESSION
Motion to meet in Executive Session, pursuant to Massachusetts General laws chapter 30A section 21(a)
for the following purposes:
Purpose 3: to discuss strategy with respect to litigation, specifically a demand from Attorney Keefe
received in the afternoon of August 31, 2022 regarding wage claims under Massachusetts General Law
chapter 149, because an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the litigating position of the
School Committee and the Chair so declares;
Purpose 6: to consider the purchase, exchange, lease or value of real property (Maimonides School, 2
Clark Road, Brookline, Massachusetts) because an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the
negotiating position of the School Committee; and
Purpose 7, to review and approve executive session minutes from the following meetings: July 21, 2022
and July 26, 2022.
