Review and discuss revised plans (due to value engineering changes) for the Pierce School building project and possibly vote on a recommendation/s for the project.

6:45 pm

Review, discuss and possibly vote on WA 14: Amend Article 4.2.7 of the Town's General By-Law to require annual reporting on the Town's Payment in Lieu of Tax (PILOT) program (Lebovitz, Toffel)

Review, discuss and possibly vote on WA 36: Resolution regarding the Town's Payment in Lieu of Tax (PILOT) program (Lebovitz, Toffel)

 7:30 pm     Executive Session

Question of whether the Advisory Committee shall enter Executive Session for the purpose of reviewing and discussing the litigation matter: Maryam Karimi vs. Town of Brookline, U.S. Dist Ct. Civil Action Number 20-12127, a former Library employee who alleges unlawful retaliation

 8:00 pm Open Session

Discussion and possible vote on rescinding prior vote on the above litigation matter.

Discussion and possible vote on authorizing a transfer from the Town's Liability/Catastrophe Fund to pay for settlement of the litigation matter discussed above.

The Advisory Committee welcomes written comments, which will be circulated to members of the Committee if they are sent to [email protected] no later than noon on the day of the meeting. 

Subcommittees of the Advisory Committee hold public hearings on any matter on which the Advisory Committee makes a recommendation to Town Meeting. Members of the public are encouraged to participate in subcommittee public hearings if they wish to comment on any item under deliberation by the subcommittee. All public comments become part of the public record. Any member of the public may make an audio or video recording of an open session of a public meeting. They must first notify the chair and must comply with reasonable requirements regarding audio or video equipment established by the chair so as not to interfere with the meeting.
