Question of approving the following Change Order requests:

 

COR #1 is for unforeseen conditions at various sealant joints within the limestone at the Library.  This is work in addition to the specified work, and necessary to perform the proper repairs to the building.  The cost of the COR #1 is $21,881.64

 

COR #2 is for the removal of the chimney at the rear of the Police Station.  This chimney has been abandoned and capped in the past, however it appears that water is still getting between the chimney and building wall, and causing cracking of the masonry during weather cycles.  The cost of this COR #2 is $23,058.17.
