Public Comment period for people who requested to speak to the Board regarding Town issues.
Up to fifteen minutes for public comment on matters not appearing on this Calendar shall be scheduled each meeting. Persons wishing to speak may sign up in advance beginning on the Friday preceding the meeting or may sign up in person at the meeting. Speakers will be taken up in the order they sign up. Question of approving the meeting minutes from November 28. 2023
Question of approving an Authorization to Hire request from the Department of Diversity, Inclusion and Community Relations:
Language Access Coordinator (T-04)
Question of approving the authorization to hire request for a Deputy Director of Public Buildings (T-14) in the Public Buildings Division of the Building Department.
Question of approving Extra Work Order #3 related to Contract No. PW/23-03 with North-Eastern Tree Service in the amount of $70,400.00
Question of approving the following appropriation transfer request within the Council on Aging budget:
$60,000 from Professional/Technical Services to Furniture, Fixtures, Equipment
$4,465 from Professional/Technical Services to Building Maintenance Supplies
Question of accepting and authorizing the Town Administrator to sign the Municipal Vulnerability Preparedness (MVP) Grant for to complete a drainage model flood risk assessment for the Town of Brookline in the amount of $145,226.
Question of awarding and executing contract PW/24-13 with Brown and Caldwell to complete a Town Wide Drainage Model and Assessment in the amount of $205,226.

NATIONAL COMMUNITY SURVEY
Question of approving the contract between Policy Confluence, Inc. and the Town of Brookline for the National Community Survey (formerly National Citizen Survey) in the amount of $31,000.
FY24 TAX CLASSIFICATION VOTE
Question of adopting the percentages of the local tax levy to be borne by each class of real property and personal property for the 2024 fiscal year and the setting of the Residential Exemption percentage for the 2024 fiscal year.
DEPARTMENTAL FEE UPDATES
Question of making changes to the following departmental fee schedules under the provisions of MGL Ch. 40, Sec 22F:
- Fire Prevention Fee
- Marijuana License Fee (POSTPONED)

Discussion and possible vote on a Select Board policy regarding signage or other expressive matter placed at the Board’s direction on Town property.
