Public Comment period for citizens who requested to speak to the Board regarding Town issues not on the Calendar.

Up to fifteen minutes for public comment on matters not appearing on this Calendar shall be scheduled each meeting.  Persons wishing to speak may sign up in advance beginning on the Friday preceding the meeting or may sign up in person at the meeting. Speakers will be taken up in the order they sign up.  Advance registration is available by calling the Selectmen’s office at 617-730-2211 or by e-mail at sorsini@brooklinema.gov. Question of accepting a grant in the amount of $44,882.40 from the Massachusetts Department of Mental Health to be used for the continued improvement of the Brookline Police Department’s Crisis Intervention Team/Jail Diversion efforts.

Question of approving two (2) Change Orders to the contract with Shawmut Design and Construction  in connection with the Renovations and Additions to the Edward Devotion School as follows:

 

Change Order #10, an increase in the amount of $94,203.00.

 

Change Order #11, a decrease in the amount of $15,409.00.
