Public Comment period for citizens who requested to speak to the Board regarding Town issues not on the Calendar.




Up to fifteen minutes for public comment on matters not appearing on this Calendar shall be scheduled each meeting. Approval of miscellaneous items, licenses, vouchers, and contracts.

Question of approving the minutes of January 16, 2018.



B.


Question of approving a Power of Attorney that would authorize Housing Project Planner David Guzman to act on the Town’s behalf at the foreclosure of 24 Juniper Street, Unit 65.



C.


Question of approving a transfer in the amount of $7,200.00 from the BAA Trust Fund Account to the Arts Council Matching Grants Account.



D.


Question of granting a Permit to Serve Alcoholic Beverages (Non Sales/All Types) on Town Property to Larz Anderson Auto Museum for a Birthday Party to be held on Saturday, February 3, 2018 from 5:30pm-11:00pm at 15 Newton Street.

 


E.


Question of granting a Temporary All Kinds of Alcoholic Beverages Sales License to Pine Manor College for a Wedding to be held on Sunday, February 11, 2018 from 6:00pm-11:00pm at 400 Heath Street.

Town Administrator Melvin Kleckner and Select Board Members will provide information about the 2018 Massachusetts Municipal Association (MMA) Annual Meeting and Trade Show held on January 19 and 20, 2018.

ZONING BY-LAW COMMITTEE MEMBERSHIP





Question of making the following appointments to the Zoning By-Law Committee:


Lynda Roseman, Brookline Neighborhood Alliance representative (in place of Alisa Jonas)

Pallavi Kalia Mande, Conservation Commission representative (in place of Marian Lazar)

Select Board Members Benjamin Franco and Heather Hamilton will provide information on the progress of the Override Study Committee.

ENTERAINMENT LICENSE





Question of approving the application of Four S Enterprise, d/b/a BAB, Sangwan Lee, Owner and Manager, for a Common Victualler and Entertainment (Radio and TV) License at 1374 Beacon Street. Inside seating capacity is 40 and hours of operation are Sunday 11:00am-9:00pm, Monday-Thursday 11:30am-10:00pm, Friday and Saturday 11:30am-10:30pm.

Public Hearing on the application of Respect Our Hospitalitah, LLC, Stephen Bowman, Manager, holder of a License to Expose, Keep for Sale, and to Sell All Kinds of Alcoholic Beverages to be Drunk on the Premises as a Seven Day Common Victualler at 1704 Beacon Street for the following:


  1. Change of d/b/a from Fairsted Kitchen to Grassona’s Italian.


  1. Change of Beneficial Interest removing Andrew Foster,

      as 30% LLC Manager and appointing Stephen Bowman,  

                                                as 100% LLC Manager.

AMENDED APPLICATION: TRANSFER OF WINE AND MALT BEVERAGES LICENSE





Question of approving the application of P&L Restaurant, Inc., d/b/a Rainbow Sushi, LiLi Liang, Owner and Manager, for a Common Victualler and Entertainment (Radio and TV) License at 187 Harvard Street. Seating capacity of 32, hours of operation are Sunday 12:15pm-10:00pm, Monday-Thursday 11:30am-10:00pm and Friday and Saturday 11:30am-11:00pm. (Liquor hours will be the same.)

Public Hearing on the amended application, submitted November 30, 2017, of Huan Ying Inc., d/b/a Home Sushi & Asian Cuisine, Ying Chen, President and Manager, holder of a License to Expose, Keep for Sale, and to Sell Wine and Malt Beverages to be Drunk on the Premises as a Seven Day Common Victualler at 187 Harvard Street for a transfer of said license  to P&L Restaurant, Inc., d/b/a Rainbow Sushi, LiLi Liang, Owner and Manager. Said license to be exercised at the same location. Liquor hours will be Sunday 12:15pm-10:00pm, Monday-Thursday 11:30am-10:00pm and Friday-Saturday 11:30am-11:00pm.  Alternate Manger is Kai Peng Zen.

Select Board Members Benjamin Franco and Bernard Greene will provide information on the Licensing Review Committee.
