UPDATED NOTICE OF MEETING
Advisory Committee Organizational Meeting - July 9, 2019

The organizational meeting of the Advisory Committee for Fiscal Year 2020 will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday July 9, 2019, in Room 103 on the first floor of Town Hall, 333 Washington Street, Brookline.  

UPDATED AGENDA

1. Election of an Advisory Committee Chairperson, Vice-chairperson, and Secretary.

2. Review, discussion and possible vote on a request from the Police Department to authorize the transfer of $26,125 of funds within the FY 19 Police Department appropriation to pay year-end gasoline, diesel, and electricity invoices. 
    
3. Review, discussion and possible vote on a reserve fund transfer request from the Fire Department for $240,322 and an appropriation transfer of $31,362 to offset the deficit. 

4. Review, discussion and possible vote on a reserve fund transfer request from the Public Schools of Brookline. 

5. Other business

The public is invited to attend. However, unless otherwise indicated for any specific agenda item(s), this meeting is not a public hearing so public comments will not be taken at the meeting. The Advisory Committee welcomes written comments, which will be circulated to members of the Committee if they are sent to lportscher@brooklinema.gov no later than 12:00 noon on the day of the meeting. Subcommittees of the Advisory Committee hold public hearings on any matter on which the Advisory Committee makes a recommendation to Town Meeting. Members of the public are encouraged to attend subcommittee public hearings if they wish to comment on any item under deliberation by the subcommittee.
