1.     BOARD OF APPEALS CASES (Tentative Board of Appeals hearing date) and relevant Precinct:         

7:35 PM          99 South Street – Expand driveway into left side setback (11/7) Pct. 16

2.     GENERAL WARRANT ARTICLES – DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE VOTE ON RECOMMENDATIONS ON:

ART. 9 – RESOLUTION ON A REAL ESTATE TRANSFER TAX – if approved by the State Legislature and by a Town-wide vote, Brookline would have the authority to levy on the purchase price, after deducting $500,000, a 1% tax on the buyer and a 1% tax on the seller to fund affordable housing through the Town’s Housing Trust Fund [Submitted by: Wendy MacMillan, David Lescohier, and Deborah Brown]

 

ART. 21 – PROHIBIT FOSSIL-FUEL CONNECTIONS IN NEW CONSTRUCTION AND MAJOR REHABS 

 Beginning June 1, 2020, no building permits would be issued for fossil-fuel connections to new construction or rehab projects greater than 50% of the floor area of the existing house   [Submitted by: Jesse Gray, Werner Lohe, Alan Leviton, Lisa Cunningham, Diane Sokal, Daria Mark, Cora Weissbourd, Kathleen Scanlon, Heather Hamilton (SB), Raul Fernandez (SB), and Nancy Heller (SB)

 

3.        Continued Public Hearing on Article 20 – Allow Micro Unit Dwellings in the Coolidge Corner General Business District AND Discuss Planning Board Recommendation on Article 19 – Allow Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) With Conditions
