Up to fifteen minutes for public comment on matters not appearing on this Calendar shall be scheduled each meeting. Persons wishing to speak may sign up in advance beginning on the Friday preceding the meeting or may sign up in person at the meeting. Speakers will be taken up in the order they sign up. Question of accepting a grant from the City of Boston in the amount of $60,000.00 to support the Emergency Preparedness Buddies Program. The Office seeks to appropriate $60,000 of awarded grant funds into 5100SH51 - UASI EP Buddies. This will support program goals to assist the elderly and adults with access and functional needs prepare for and respond to emergency situations.
Question of accepting a grant from the National Association of County and City Health Officials (NACCHO) in the amount of $7,500.00. The Office seeks the awarded grant funds to be appropriated for the Medical Reserve Corps.
Question of approving the following transfer from the Patrol Division of the Police Department's permanent full time budget line to the Uniforms and Protective clothing budget line, the budgeted Capital line for Leased Computer Equipment, the Education/Training Conference and Motor Vehicle/Equipment repairs and maintenance budget lines.
Question of accepting a grant from the State's 911 grant program in the amount of $25,281.90 that covers the costs associated with training and certification of enhanced 911 Tele-communicators.
Question of accepting a grant from the Lauren Dunne Astley Memorial Fund in the amount of $2,000.00 to fund the travel expenses and conference costs for one Brookline Police Officer to attend the 2020 National Conference on Health and Domestic Violence.
Question of approving Change Order #2 with Calhess Restoration and Weatherproofing Corp. in connection with the "Brookline Reservoir Gatehouse Exterior Restoration" project in the amount of $9,651.00.
