Select Board or other persons may announce recent and/or upcoming Events of Community Interest or provide updates on matters of Community Concern.

PUBLIC COMMENT

Public Comment period for citizens who requested to speak to the Board regarding Town issues not on the Calendar.

Up to fifteen minutes for public comment on matters not appearing on this Calendar shall be scheduled each meeting. Persons wishing to speak may sign up in advance beginning on the Friday preceding the meeting or may sign up in person at the meeting. Speakers will be taken up in the order they sign up. Advance registration is available by calling the Select Board’s office at 617-730-2202 or by e-mail at kmacgillivray@brooklinema.gov. Question of approving the meeting minutes for May 5, 2020.

Question of approving the proclamation celebrating National Public Works Week 2020 in Brookline.

Question of approving and transmitting to the Advisory Committee the request from the Department of Public Works, Commissioner, Andrew Pappastergion, for a Reserve Fund Transfer in the amount of $236,024 and Appropriation Transfer request of $120,000, for the resolution of the FY20 Snow & Ice deficit of $356,024.

Question of approving and transmitting to the Advisory Committee a Reserve Fund Transfer in the amount of $500,000 for the emergency  demolition of the Davis Path Footbridge.

GRANT OF LOCATION PUBLIC HEARING - 791 HAMMOND



6:30 PM

Public hearing on the petition of NStar Electric Company d/b/a Eversource Energy for permission to construct, and a location for, such a line of conduits and manholes with the necessary cables therein under the following public way:

Hammond Street – conduit running southerly from manhole 19808 on the westerly side approximately 245 feet west of Woodland Road a distance of about 5 feet thence turning and running westerly a distance of about 5 feet to 791 Hammond Street.


7.

GRANT OF LOCATION PUBLIC HEARING - CYPRESS & BRINGTON



6:30 PM

Public hearing on the petition of NStar Electric Company d/b/a Eversource Energy for permission to construct, and a location for, such a line of conduits and manholes with the necessary cables therein under the following public way:

Cypress Street – at Boylston Street thence running northwesterly 115 feet from existing manhole MH#4677 to Brington Road installing approximately 100 feet of conduit (MassDOT portion 15 feet from manhole).

Brington Road – at Cypress Street install one new manhole MH#30929 thence running westerly approximately 68 feet of conduit to the point of pick up.
