ON PROPOSED ZONING AMENDMENT WARRANT ARTICLES FOR FALL 2020 TOWN MEETING

ARTICLE   7 AMEND  SEC. 4.08, AFFORDABLE HOUSING REQUIREMENTS, by revising the definition in Sec. 2.e related to income qualification for rental units and Sec. 5. a & d, by lowering the number of units that trigger affordable housing requirements from six to four (Submitted by Roger Blood)

ARTICLE   9 DEFINE AND ALLOW SHORT TERM RENTALS (STRs) by adding: definitions under Sec. 2.19 S, for STRs and under P for Primary Residence; a new Use 51 C. under Sec. 4.07, Table of Use Regulations for STRs; and a new Sec. 4.14, Use Regulations - Purpose, Applicability and Requirements (Submitted by Select Board)

 

ARTICLE   23 AMEND  THE ZONING BY-LAW TO MAKE ALL PRONOUNS GENDER NEUTRAL - their for his/her, they for he/she, Select Board for Board of Selectmen, and Select Board members for Selectmen (submitted by Hadassah Margolis, et al)

ARTICLE   25 REQUIRE NOTIFICTION OF TENANTS AND RESIDENTS in Secs. 4.09, 4.10, 9.08, 9.11 of the Zoning By-Law where mailing notices or information to owners is required, and add Sec. 9.13 Notification of Tenant and Resident (submitted by Amie Lindenboim, et al)

ARTICLE 26   ELIMINATE OFF-STREET RESIDENTIAL PARKING MINIMUMS IN THE TRANSIT PARKING OVERLAY DISTRICT by amending Sec. 6.02.2.i, Off- Street Parking Regulations (submitted by Michael Zoorob, et al)

ARTICLE 27ALLOW MICRO UNIT DWELLINGS IN SC, T, M, L, and G ZONING DISTRICTS WITH NO PARKING REQUIREMENTS (submitted by Michael Zoorob, et al)
