Free Compost Starter Kits for New Black Earth Compost Subscribers

Black Earth Compost Incentive Program - new subscribers receive a $60 starter kit free of charge

The Town of Brookline’s Department of Public Works is thrilled to reintroduce its curbside composting “Free Starter Kit” incentive program in partnership with Black Earth Compost. This program is intended to increase access to Black Earth Compost’s subscription-based curbside collection service and support the diversion of food waste away from the incinerator.

While supplies last, new Brookline Black Earth Compost subscribers will receive a free starter kit! This includes a curbside bin (residents may select either a 13-gallon or 4-gallon bin), compostable liners, and an optional countertop bin, all of which is a $60 value! Black Earth Compost offers a weekly pickup subscription option ($59.99/6 months) or an every other week pickup subscription option ($44.99/6 months).
