[ARCHIVED] "Low and Slow Across America's Infrastructure" Tour Kicks Off in Brookline


The "Low and Slow Across America's Infrastructure" Tour kicks off at the Brookline Municipal Service Center on Monday, May 11, 2015. This epic road trip will begin at the Town of Brookline Public Works Municipal Service Center at 9:30am. The "Low and Slow Across America's Infrastructure" tour is a Boston-to-Los Angeles road trip in a 1949 Hudson Commodore 8 to "draw attention to the critical conditions of our nation's infrastructure - and some of the solutions underway". Stops along the way will include local Departments of Public Works. Brookline is pleased to announce that its Municipal Service Center will be the official kickoff location for the tour. This event is part of the Infrastructure Awareness Campaign sponsored by the Engineering News-Record and the href="">American Public Works Association.
