[ARCHIVED] "Low and Slow Across America's Infrastructure" Tour Kicked Off in Brookline


The "Low and Slow Across America's Infrastructure" Tour kicked off in Brookline on Monday, May 11, 2015. This epic road trip began at the Town of Brookline Public Works Municipal Service Center located on Hammond Street.

The "Low and Slow Across America's Infrastructure" tour is a Boston-to-Los Angeles road trip in a 1949 Hudson Commodore 8 to "draw attention to the critical conditions of our nation's infrastructure - and some of the solutions underway". Stops along the way will include local Departments of Public Works. Brookline is pleased to announce that its Municipal Service Center will be the official kickoff location for the tour. This event is part of the Infrastructure Awareness Campaign sponsored by the Engineering News-Record and the American Public Works Association. For more information, please visit the website.
