Team Brookline, the Town of Brooklie's official Boston Marathon team, builds community through sport. Team Brookline is a collaborative fundraising program established in 2012 by the Town of Brookline and managed by the Brookline Community Mental Health Center. Team Brookline benefits four local charities that play an integral role in strengthening and enriching our community: Brookline Community Mental Health Center, Brookline Education Foundation, Brookline Library Foundation, and Brookline Teen Center. Over the past three years, Team Brookline runners have raised $650,000 - an amazing accomplishment that has made a true impact on the lives of all who live, work, and go to school in Brookline.

Team Brookline is accepting runner applications to join their 2016 Boston Marathon team. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis until Wednesday, September 30, 2015. Applicants may be contacted by marathon staff for a follow-up conversation. Team selection will be finalized in early October and applicants will be notified of their team status on or by Thursday, October 15, 2015.
