[ARCHIVED] Two Hearings this week on Plastic Bag & Polystyrene Based Disposable Food Packaging Regulations

Two additional public hearings are being held this week at Town Hall regarding proposed regulation changes on plastic bags and polystyrene based disposable food packaging. These are citizen petitioned warrant articles being considered by Special Town Meeting this fall and may affect your business; you are encouraged to attend.

- Tuesday, October 4th, 8:30 pm, 6th Floor Selectmen's Hearing Room, Town Hall: Board of Selectmen
- Wednesday, October 5th, 7:45 pm, Room 111, Town Hall: Economic Development Advisory Board

Additionally, the full Advisory Committee is scheduled to take up these articles on October 18th. Although not a public hearing (usually public comment is not taken), this is certainly a public meeting, and all are welcome to attend.

Other meetings or hearings may also be scheduled; please refer to the Town’s online Meeting Calendar to confirm dates, times and room locations.

You may contact one of the petitioners, Clint Richmond, at [email protected] with questions concerning the proposed articles.
