Brookline Town Seal

In observance of the Martin Luther King, Jr. Holiday on Monday, January 15th, please note the following for the Town of Brookline:


CLOSINGS:

  • All Town and School offices will be closed.
  • Brookline Public Schools will be closed. Classes resume on Tuesday, January 16th.
  • All Public Safety Windows will be closed.
  • All branches of the Public Library of Brookline will be closed.
  • The Brookline Senior Center will be closed.


TRASH AND RECYCLING PICKUP INFORMATION:

The Department of Public Works has announced that for those on the Town's trash service, trash and recycling pickup will not occur on MLK Day (Monday, January 15, 2018). Pickup will occur on a 1-day delay (Friday's pickup will take place on Saturday). Please plan accordingly.

* Christmas trees may be placed at the curb for collection on your trash day from thru January 19th (this is a one week extension due to the recent snow storm). In order to be picked up, trees must be free of plastic bags, ornaments, tinsel and lights.


PARKING:

The Brookline Police Department has announced that parking meters will be free on Monday, January 15, 2018.
