[ARCHIVED] Phase 2 to begin on Monday, June 8; Next Virtual Town Hall meeting for businesses on June 11th

Start Date for Phase 2 Reopening Announced: This afternoon Governor Baker announced that Phase 2 of the state’s Reopening Plan will begin on Monday, June 8. Phase 2 will have two steps. In the first step, which begins Monday, the following industries can reopen with certain restrictions: retail stores, child care, day camps, lodging, youth sports, outdoor seated dining. The second step, which won’t begin until health officials have determined enough progress has been made on key public health metrics, will allow indoor dining at restaurants, as well as the opening of nail salons, massage therapy and tanning salons,


June 11th Virtual Town Hall Meeting for Brookline Businesses and Nonprofits: Town staff will be available to answer questions about the Reopening Plan, Brookline’s new Small Business Relief Grant Program, and any other business-related topics and issues at the weekly Virtual Town Hall meeting for Brookline’s business and nonprofit community on Thursday, June 11th at 9am via Zoom videoconference:
