[ARCHIVED] Dec 17 Deadline for 3rd Round of Restaurants for Brookline Program

Hello Brookline Restaurateurs,

Are you an independently owned, Brookline restaurant? Would you like to be paid to produce bulk meals for community partners? Participate in Round 3 of Restaurants forBrookline!

Restaurants for Brookline Round 1 was initiated to support local restaurants and food insecure residents by State Senator Cynthia Creem with an earmark in the State Budget. Round 2 was made possible by a generous grant from the Brookline Community Foundation and individual contributions. Round 3, funded by another State Budget earmark by Senator Creem, will begin on January 24th, 2022.

Applications are being accepted now from interested restaurants. In the past restaurants each made 50 balanced meals per week of the 7-week program. Meals were paid by Restaurants for Brookline. Meals were enjoyed by individuals and families served by the Brookline Food Pantry and the Brookline Senior Center. Round 3 will also include the Brookline Teen Center that will benefit from meals for their Thursday Dinners.

The duration of Restaurants for Brookline Round 3 and total number of meals per restaurant will be contingent on the number of participating restaurants. Interested restaurants must apply, even if they have participated in the past.

Meals will be compensated at $17 each.

Registration ends on December 17th at midnight.

Program begins January 24th

Restaurants can register here.

Please help spread the word of this opportunity to Brookline Restaurants!
