Question of entering into Executive Session for the reasons in items 2, 3, 4, and 5.
EXECUTIVE SESSION - REAL PROPERTY
For the purpose of considering the lease of the real property located at 15 Newton Street (Larz Anderson Auto Museum), if the chair declares that an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the negotiating position of the public body.
EXECUTIVE SESSION - COLLECTIVE BARGAINING
For the purpose of discussing strategy related to collective bargaining with all Unions.
EXECUTIVE SESSION - LITIGATION
For the purpose of discussing strategy with respect to two separate litigation matters, specifically, (a) Maryam Karimi vs. Town of Brookline, U.S. Dist Ct. Civil Action Number 20-12127, a former Library employee who alleges unlawful retaliation, and (b) two pre-suit claims by current employees who allege unlawful sexual harassment, if an open meeting may have a detrimental effect on the bargaining or litigating position of the public body and the chair so declares.

Question of approving the appropriation transfer request within the Building Department budget:
$8,000 from salary savings (25002520 510101) to professional services (2002520 524008)
Question of approving Change Order #13 with Gilbane Building Company in the amount of $77,650.00 for the Driscoll School Project, various additions and deletions to the contract scope of work.
Question of approving Change Order #4 with Lambrian Construction in the amount of $37,473.00 for the BHS 3rd floor classroom and Quad renovations project
Question of approving amendment #1 to the contract with Consigli Construction for the Pierce MSBA Project in the amount of $4,288.00 for on site destructive testing

Question of approving a grant in the amount of $2,500.00 from Brookline for All, Brookline Community Foundation to be used towards BHS history teachers and the Indigenous People's Committee for an upcoming event
Question of approving the event location request from the Chamber of Commerce to host the 2022 First Light Holiday Celebration on the Florida Ruffin Ridley School Green on Thursday, December 1 from 5-8 p.m.

Question of appointing Michelle Lawlor as a Police Officer in the Police Department.

Question of accepting a grant for the Brookline Police department in the amount of $301,039.00 from the Department of Mental Health to provide training and technical assistance.
2022 FALL SPECIAL TOWN MEETING WARRANT
Question of executing the Warrant for the November 15, 2022 Fall Special Town Meeting.
Question of calling a Special Town Meeting within the Fall Special Town Meeting on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 and executing the Warrant.

Public Hearing and possible vote on the grant of location request from NStar Electric Company d/b/a Eversource Energy for permission to construct, and a location for, such a line of conduits and manholes with the necessary cables therein under the following public way:
Beacon Street - at the intersection of Centre Street install Padmount #27983 and EV station 23' westerly to existing MH #9038 installing approximately 25' of conduit.
NOISE BY-LAW WAIVER PUBLIC HEARING
Public Hearing and possible vote to approve the application for a Noise Bylaw Waiver from McCourt Construction, a contractor of Eversource, for 24 hour overnight work in November 2022 at the following locations:

40 Dunster Road
230 Middlesex Road
NOISE BYLAW WAIVER PUBLIC HEARING
Question of the issuance of a waiver to the Town’s Noise By-Law at the request of Aetna Bridge Company, Inc., for the period extending from 7:00pm, Friday, September 23, 2022 through 8:30am, Sunday, October 2, 2022, a timeframe coincidental with the planned MBTA 9-day surge ‘shutdown’ of the Greenline, D-branch, in order to allow for the craning, setting and securing of the rehabilitated Carlton St Footbridge span above the MBTA tracks.
PIERCE SCHOOL BUILDING PROJECT
Presentation and possible vote on the Pierce Project Schematic Design and Budget and Pierce Project Demolition Applications.
