  • Babcock Street (Final surface and pavement markings expected in Spring 2019; memo sent to T Board regarding temporary markings; DPW acknowledged and will make temporary markings a contract bid item moving forward)
  • Beacon Street Westbound Bike Lane (Construction Spring 2019)
  • Gateway East (Low bid came in over $1million over budget; construction start Spring, 2019, pending funding gap being closed by MPO and Town )
  • Carlton Street Footbridge (Bid-ready plans Fall 2018; construction to start Spring 2019)

b  Beacon Street outbound Town line to Carlton (staff developing drawings for public process and possible FY 2021 funding)

b  Harvard Street (changes in Brookline Village Spring 2019; other changes are candidates for FY 2021 CIP request)

b  Intersection of Beacon and Washington (possible candidate for FY 2021 CIP request)

b  Washington Street (expected for funding FY 2020-2024; not yet reviewed)

  • Beacon Street at Washington St. protected bike lane demo (Spring 2019)
  • Lane violation/loading zones (Harvard, Beacon to Green, Staff reviewing options. Stantec reviewing as possible mitigation for the Waldo project)
  • Parking meter stickers (Stickers ordered)
  • Curbside bike lane signs (Centre Street completed.  Others to be processed starting Spring 2019.)
  • Winchester Street Fuller to Beacon (to be completed after National Grid completes their project)
  • Green Street (request submitted to staff July 10, 2018.  Staff to study Winter 2018/2019)
  • Beacon Street Bridle Path (TM approved non-binding resolution calling for funding source and scope by May 2020. Demo being developed as an event for Bike Week/Climate Action Brookline. Other future demos also possible in summer/fall 2019 )
  • Bike rack snow removal (memo sent to Commissioner Pappastergion)
